What my friends at ACC say about me:Pearl Marble was sitting quietly in a loaf position at the front of the kennel and enjoyed gentle petting along her back, lifting her rear and tail in response. She leaned in softly for cheek rubs while eating treats, and when the treats ran out, she leaned in more firmly for additional cheek rubs. She gave an unexpected hiss but quickly settled and continued to accept and enjoy petting. She remained reasonably calm when picked up and briefly held. Pearl Marble is a sweet cat who may be feeling slightly conflicted as she adjusts to the shelter environment. She had large pupils through most of the interaction.Pearl Marble interacts with the observer, solicits & appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for cat parents with either an average amount of cat experience or demonstrate a basic understanding of typical cat behavior. It could be with you! It seems like I unlocked something in her during our interaction. The rest of the time I remained in the room, she kept sticking her paws outside of her kennel to gently tap me to get my attention. The change as hilarious! She was very friendly towards me, loved treats, and pets. I have no doubt this adorable tiger with a vibrant personality is ready for a forever home!
