My story

Meet Suki — the charming, slightly quirky 10-year-young miniature poodle mix with a heart as big as his toy collection! At about 20 pounds, this dapper gentleman might take a minute to warm up, but once he does, you’ve got yourself a loyal cuddle buddy and low-key goofball. Suki’s currently sharing his home with two other dog pals. He’s a little bossy at first (hey, someone’s gotta run the show!), but a polite “no thanks” and he’s all ears. While he’s not the life of the doggy party, he’s totally happy chilling in the yard, just soaking in the good vibes. Cat fans—Suki’s feline opinions are still a mystery! When new people arrive, Suki’s face lights up with a wagging tail that says, “Hey there, new best friend!” He’s a pro at hopping onto beds and couches for some prime snuggle time—he’s all about that close-up cuddle life. Suki’s a toy enthusiast but a little bit of a toy-guarding ninja, so his foster parent keeps his treasures put away when others are around. The good news? He’s always ready to swap toys for treats or new toys. Any “uh-oh” moments get handled with a quick “stop” — and this guy listens like a champ. Leash walks? Smooth sailing. Car rides? Calm and collected. Barking? Nah. Destructive behavior? Nope. House-trained? Absolutely. This guy’s got his manners down! He’s a bit wary about grooming, especially around his eyes and feet—so he rocks a stylish muzzle during those moments. But with patience and lots of love, he’s learning that grooming can be a pretty good thing. His foster mom’s even managed some muzzle-free foot drying—progress! Suki’s also rocking some special food for allergies and might be tuning into a quieter frequency these days with a little hearing loss. Ideal home? One with a fenced yard, no tiny humans (sorry, little kids!), and someone who’s home most of the day to hang out and keep the good vibes going. Suki’s microchipped, vet-checked, and ready to find his forever person. Could that be you? This sweet boy’s got plenty of love to give and is waiting for someone patient, kind, and full of cuddles.      September 18, 2025, 10:36 am

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Suki, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
