Hi my friends! My name is Wynter and here's some of my deets! PHYSICAL INFO: Breed: Mixed Lab Age: 1 year 4 months approx. Gender: Female Weight: 36lbs (16.5kg) Current Location: Baja California, Mexico RESCUE STORY - My and my nine (!) siblings were unfortunately found abandoned at a local garbage dump down in the Baja when we were just real young'uns. This was really scary for us but thankfully some kind hoomans found us and brought us to the shelter where we had a chance to recover and grow strong and healthy! Now they say I'm like a ray of winter sunshine! You see, I'm a real lovebug heartbreaker who is fun and playful and looooves playing with other doggos and hoomans alike. I'm also really, really smart (humble brag) and do pretty well with things like my leash skills. I have a reputation for being an easygoing pup with a very manageable moderate energy level who would flourish well in almost any family environment! TEMPERAMENT - I'm a playful pup who loves to go for runs in the big yard down at the shelter and gets along well with most all of the other rescue doggos! I have a sweet and easygoing temperament and would love to be able to have a family of my own to give ALLLL this love to! ENERGY LEVEL - Medium GETS ALONG WITH: Kids – Unknown (but testing can be requested) Dogs – Yep! I live at a shelter around lots of other doggos! Cats – Unknown (but testing can be requested) PREY DRIVE - Unknown. I’m not too sure how I’ll react around squirrels/rabbits etc. My adopter needs to be prepared and willing to train me through these behaviours, should they arise. TRAINING: Leash skills – Pretty good as you can see in my video! Additional training and patience may be required when I get to Canada :) House trained – I may need some additional training and patience! Crate trained – Not yet crate trained and I may need some additional training and patience. Car rides – Unknown and I may need some additional training and patience. HEALTH NOTES: I have been spayed and am current on all my vaccinations including monthly flea/tick medication and I will be microchipped before I leave the centre. NOTE: It is not uncommon for rescue dogs to require dental work/cleaning after they are adopted. West Coast Paws does not cover the costs of dental work and/or vet visits. These costs are the financial responsibility of the adopter. ADOPTION FEE: My adoption fee is $840.00 CAD ($750.00 + PST and GST), which includes my airfare, if a flight volunteer is found directly to Vancouver. ------------------------------------- DISCLAIMER: Please visit wcpdogrescue.com to read about West Coast Paws Dog Rescue and it's adoption process. The info included in each WCP bio is provided to us from the international rescuer. WCP does not have in-person access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions, although we ask for video proof of a dog's attributes wherever possible. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person(s) adopting them and the environment in which they live. WCP is unable to guarantee the accuracy of a dogs age and/or breed. These are strictly "best guesses" based on veterinary exams and their educated estimates. ##2396371##
