HIGHLIGHT:- May require another confident dog already established in the homeMeet Stella, a beautiful 6-year-old Shiba Inu with a quiet spirit and gentle soul. Right now, Stella is still very scared of humans and is learning that the world can be a kind and loving place. She isn’t quite ready for pets or close contact yet, but she’s taking small steps forward every day.Stella may benefit from having another calm, confident dog in the home to show her the ropes and help her feel more secure. She finds comfort in being near other dogs and seems to open up more in their presence.While Stella’s journey may take time, we know there’s a special family out there who will patiently help her continue to build confidence and trust. With understanding, routine, and love, Stella has the potential to grow into a wonderful companion.*******Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog’s individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with time and a gentle approach, most of these dogs adapt quickly.
