My story

Meet Daisy Doodle — a dog who wakes up every morning like it's opening night on Broadway and she's the star, the orchestra, and the confetti cannon. She’s 70% joy, 20% wiggle, and 10% pure, unfiltered chaos... wait, we mean charisma. She's got the kind of energy that makes coffee nervous, the kind of enthusiasm that makes you question if you’re doing enough with your life, and the kind of goofball charm that turns every ordinary moment into a slapstick comedy sketch. Basically, if you’ve been thinking, “You know what my life needs? A spazz-tastic best friend who plays hard, loves harder, and doesn’t understand personal space,” then congratulations, Daisy Doodle has entered the chat. Daisy Doodle is a 10-month-old, 49-pound Goldendoodle… or maybe a Labradoodle… or perhaps just a doodle-shaped mystery with a perm. Let’s not get hung up on the specifics of her designer lineage—Goldendoodle, Labradoodle, Noodledoodle—whatever mix of curly-coated chaos she is, one thing’s for sure: she’s the kind of “coveted” that gets you compliments at the park and unsolicited opinions from strangers at Petco. Just know she’s one of those fancy mixes people lose their minds over on the internet—and yet, somehow, she still ended up homeless. Daisy is what you'd call the overenthusiastic guest who missed the memo on boundaries. She’s that person at a party who keeps dancing after the music stops—completely unfazed by growls or dirty looks. The other dogs have staged multiple interventions, but Daisy interprets it all as a spirited round of charades. Tundra is her only true fan; the rest are somewhere between mildly annoyed and filing formal complaints. She tried to initiate a game of “tag, you’re it!” with the cat at her last residence, which went as well as you'd expect. A cat with confidence and sass might be okay… but if your feline is more of a delicate flower? Might want to swipe left. She loves children. Like, deeply. Intensely. Unfortunately, the feeling isn’t mutual. Her idea of bonding involves chasing, mouthing, and barking—basically turning playtime into a live-action cartoon. The kids have affectionately labeled her “crazy,” which, honestly, is the most accurate Yelp review to date. Everyone is her best friend. Everyone. Mailman? Best friend. Random jogger? Best friend. Stranger who sneezed across the street? Soulmate. She greets people like she’s hosting a surprise party they didn’t know they were invited to—complete with joyful barking, enthusiastic leaps, and zero sense of personal space. So if you're in the market for a dog with the energy of a double espresso and the social skills of a golden retriever on a sugar high… Daisy Doodle is ready to doodle her way into your heart (and onto your furniture). Daisy Doodle’s energy level falls somewhere between a sugar-rushed ferret and a baby goat in a bouncy house. She’s not just active—she’s enthusiastically excessive. You know that friend who’s always “just going to do a quick jog” and ends up running a half marathon by accident? That’s Daisy, but fluffier and with less impulse control. You will have to coax her into the car like you're convincing a royal to enter a commoner's carriage—but once she’s in, she’s shockingly civilized. She sits in the backseat, gazes dramatically out the window like she's narrating a coming-of-age movie, and gives you just enough side-eye to remind you that she chose not to climb into the front seat. This time. Daisy dreams of being a socialite. She wants to be that dog you take to the brewery patio or the neighborhood block party—except she hasn’t yet learned that not everyone wants to be jumped on or excessively loved. She's got the spirit of an extrovert and the manners of a frat boy during his first week of college. With some training, she’ll thrive in the spotlight, though. Daisy is your classic lovable spazz. She’s got the emotional depth of a golden retriever and the impulse control of a wind-up toy. She’s happy-go-lucky, equal parts dork and darling, and somehow both the party and the cleanup crew. Basically, if you’ve ever wanted a living embodiment of joy, that also occasionally booty bumps your shins—congrats, you found her. Daisy’s idea of playtime is… interactive. Toys? Meh. You? Now that’s a toy worth chewing. She wants to chase, pounce, bounce, nibble your hand (lovingly, of course), and generally involve herself in whatever you’re doing—whether you invited her or not. Imagine an 8-week-old puppy—wide-eyed, wiggly, and full of mischief—trapped inside a 49-pound, curly-haired, giraffe-legged body of a fluffy butt who is utterly confused as to why no one is scooping her up and doting on her 24/7 anymore. Daisy requires a securely fenced yard, unless you enjoy the thrill of cardio and spontaneous urban tracking. She’d also love a young, energetic dog friend who also enjoys being play-tackled at random. Daisy Doodle is mostly potty trained—meaning she’s got the idea, but she still needs a consistent routine and a human who understands that “independent potty breaks” are not her style. She prefers moral support. Daisy Doodle has a complicated relationship with the kennel—think of it like a toddler being told it’s bedtime. At first, she's like, "Excuse me? Jail? For me? I’m a free spirit." But once she realizes there’s a treat involved, she becomes just cooperative enough to make you think you're the one in charge. Daisy Doodle may not be a chewer, but let’s not get too comfortable—she is young, curious, and just nosy enough to investigate your entire home like it’s her part-time job. She’s not out to destroy your shoes, but if something looks interesting, smells weird, or resembles a snack? It’s going in the mouth for “research purposes.” Daisy Doodle isn’t exactly a full-time broadcaster, but she definitely has some opinions—especially when it comes to playtime. She’s the kind of dog who uses her bark like a party whistle: “HEY! I’m fun! Let’s PLAY!”She barks when she’s hyped, when she thinks you should be hyped, or when she’s trying to convince the other dogs that this is, in fact, a spontaneous wrestling match. Unfortunately for her, the other dogs don’t always share that enthusiasm and have kindly requested she lower her volume. In short: Daisy uses her voice selectively… but enthusiastically. Ready to bring a little curly fluffball and a whole lot of joy into your life? Daisy Doodle is accepting applications for her new forever adventure buddy! If you think you’re up for the zoomies, the snuggles, and the endless entertainment, fill out that adoption app at https://www.pyrpawsandfluffytailsrescue.com/adoption-app so we can send it to her foster family. Just be sure you're ready to scoop her up in Yukon, OK—she’s packed and practicing her victory lap already. 🐾

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Daisy Doodle, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
