Bryce is a 1.5 year old sweet, fluffy black-and-white Pomeranian mix with striking markings and a heart as big as his luxurious coat. He was rescued along with 25 other dogs from a severely neglected home, but despite his rough start, Bryce is eager to learn what love and stability really feel like. This 18-pound boy may look bigger due to his thick double coat, but underneath it all is a young pup with a gentle soul and playful spirit. He’s house-trained and walks nicely on a leash. He’s also smart and curious—currently learning basic commands and making great progress with positive reinforcement and patience.Bryce loves other dogs and would thrive in a home with a friendly canine companion. He enjoys playing chase, sharing toys without a fuss, and lounging with his pack.He adores:Chest and ear rubs in a cozy lapCar ridesShallow streams, stuffies, and bones to chewBeing part of the action with his peopleHe’s still working on a few things—like overcoming his unfamiliarity of crates and being tightly restrained (for vet visits). Quick movements toward his head make him flinch, but he’s never shown aggression; because of that older children may be a better fit. With time and trust, we believe he’ll continue to blossom.Bryce needs an adopter who can offer patience, consistency, and lots of love. He’s not a fit for someone who needs a crate-trained dog right away but has the potential with some work.If you’re ready to help a resilient little dog grow into the amazing companion he’s meant to be, Bryce may be your perfect match. If you’d like to take Bryce home, please fill out an adoption application at this link – https://animalalliesrescue.org/dog-application. The adoption fee is $350 and covers all expenses needed to prepare dogs like this one for their forever homes. By the time you meet them, they’ve already been spayed/neutered (if age-appropriate) and microchipped. They’ve been checked by a veterinarian and are up to date on necessary vaccinations, including Rabies and DHLPP. They have also been tested for heartworm and tick-borne diseases and have started heartworm and flea preventative medication. Some of our dogs have even undergone extensive medical care to ensure they’re ready for a happy, healthy life with you!
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Bryce, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
