Say Hello to Rye — A Sweetheart with a Playful Spirit! If you’re looking for a cat who’s as loving as she is lively, meet Rye! This beautiful 5-year-old sweetheart is the total package: spayed, medically up-to-date, and full of personality. Rye adores everyone she meets — men, women, and kids alike — and she still has a playful, kitten-like energy that will keep you smiling every day. Rye does have special needs: she requires a daily medication to keep her feeling her best. It’s a simple part of her routine, and she’s so worth it! If you’re interested, we’d love to share more details about her medical needs. With her warm heart, playful charm, and love for people, Rye is ready to become the beloved member of a lucky family. Could that family be yours? Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!! Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
