My story

This sweet 2-year-old feline is as elegant as her name suggests. Weighing in at 9.8 lbs, Catrine is spayed, up to date on all her shots, and ready to find her forever home. She was surrendered due to a member of her old family being allergic, but she’s hoping her next family will be a perfect match. Catrine is an independent girl who enjoys having her own space but still appreciates the company of people and other animals. She’s got a natural hunter’s instinct and enjoys being both indoors and outdoors. She’s comfortable around children and gets along well with other pets, making her a great addition to many types of households. If you’re looking for a sweet, independent cat with a touch of wild spirit, Catrine DeMew might just be your perfect companion! Could you be her new forever family? Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!! Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
