My story

    Looking for a dog with a little zip in his step, but not too much? One that’s excited to see you when you come home, even if you were just in the back yard? One who likes riding in the car and meeting new people? Then comes evening, he’s ready to snuggle up while you watch your favorite shows or read a book. Bedtime and he’s ready to go. He likes to share some space in the human bed for some sweet dreams, but will sleep on a dog bed on the floor next to you.     York may be well into his senior years, but he’s still got a whole lot of living to do. He lost his home at this stage of life and is looking to spend the rest of his life with someone special. He needs someone who doesn’t mind him wearing a belly band, he sometimes will mark and needs to go out frequently. He loves a walk and it helps in getting the bowels moving. He does like to be around his human so someone home a lot would be perfect.    York is one of the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet. And if you can accommodate his needs, you can be best of pals!
