Kronos may start off a little shy, but give him a moment and you’ll see his sweet side shine through. When you approach his kennel, he greets you with a wagging tail and hopeful eyes, tippy-tapping his feet with anticipation. He walks well on leash and takes treats with the gentlest mouth. He’s still figuring out how to trust and open up — loud noises and sudden movements can make him a little nervous — but with patience and kindness, he’s learning the world isn’t such a scary place. Kronos enjoys exploring quietly by your side and is slowly warming up to affection. If you’re someone who understands that love takes time, Kronos is ready to meet you at ACCT Philly any day of the week between 10 am and 6 pm VIDOES Kronos knows sit: https://youtube.com/shorts/ejMGbWOvTGk?si=0TU0UQdeNCkf02Yy BEHAVIOR KENNEL PRESENTATION: Kronos was in a crate. When I walked past the crate he was jumping up on the door. When I stood in front, he sat down right in front of the door. He was tippy tapping his feet and occasionally jumping. He was wagging his tail. He had wide eyes and was panting. I put the leash in and he wanted to sniff it. I tried to push it over his head and he flinched back a bit. I encouraged him with some baby talk and was able to slip the lead over his head and easily secure him. LEASH SKILLS: Mostly loose leash walking, occasionally moderate pulling. HANDLING: Outside, Kronos seemed goal oriented. She seemed focused on sniffing and using the restroom. I offered treats, he would very gently take them but then release them. He seemed aloof and uninterested in interacting. He seemed mildly spooked by loud noises. We entered the volunteer office, we walked around on leash and he sniffed. He did not solicit any attention. Once I dropped the leash, he continued to explore the room. He seemed a bit sniff with a mid level tail. People walked into the office and he did not pay attention to them. I offered high value treats, he continued to take them gently and eventually took them. He allowed me to pet him all over but was stiff. He knows sit but can be a bit jumpy at first. He returned to the kennel with no issue. PLAY & TOY: No interest. ACCT Philly is located at 111 West Hunting Park Ave in. We are open for adoptions 7 days a week. Please visit www.acctphilly.org/adopt for details.
