My story

Frolic is a petite, energetic Doberman with a heart full of enthusiasm and a zest for life. At around three years old, she’s past the puppy chaos but still very much a playful, spirited companion. She’s been sweet and affectionate with everyone she’s met, quickly winning over staff, volunteers, and fosters with her charm. Frolic is dog friendly but can easily become overstimulated, especially during introductions. She doesn’t always know how to read social cues or initiate play appropriately, so she’ll need an adopter who’s confident and capable of managing those moments with patience and structure. With time to decompress and the right guidance, she could enjoy the company of another well-matched dog, but she’d also thrive as the center of attention. Cats are unknown. She would do best in an active home that can keep her mentally and physically engaged while continuing to work with her on manners and boundaries. Frolic is full of potential and eager for someone to help her shine—she just needs the right person to believe in her.
