My story

The right place, at the right time: for dog lovers, that’s wherever our special boy Lucky is! Good Samaritans found him as a stray with a broken jaw and brought him to our door on St. Patrick’s Day. With love and support, this spirited young pup has made a wonderful recovery and is looking forward to a bright future! Playful, bold, and eager for new experiences, Lucky is the kind of puppy who lives each day to the fullest. He’s got a never-ending sparkle in his eye, and he lights up from nose to tail like a shooting star for the simplest of pleasures: a volunteer saying hi, a good sniff spot on a walk, a delicious treat, or a plush squeaky toy. Having lived in a foster home during his recovery, Lucky also has a bit of a start on his potty training and household manners. Lucky’s foster family gave a glowing review of his time in their home, saying, “He’s great. Loves to play with me, loves to play with our two dogs, loves to play with our grandkids. Gets along with everyone. He is very energetic, loves to eat, and is quite lovable. We’ve loved having him as a foster.” Lucky is one of the happiest young dogs around, and it’s easy to share his goofy delight whenever you’re near him. There’s just one way to describe his future family: lucky beyond belief!
