My story

Meet Kozo – A Gentle Soul Looking for His PersonKozo is a 5-year-old Cattle Dog who weighs 47 pounds and has a heart as big as his adorable ears. He’s a bit shy at first, but give him a little time and patience, and you’ll discover just how incredibly sweet and loyal he is.Kozo gets along well with other dogs and seems to find comfort in their company. His calm, gentle demeanor makes him a wonderful companion for someone looking for a more mellow, sensitive pup. He may take a little time to warm up to new situations, but once he trusts you, he truly blossoms. This quiet, affectionate boy is ready to find a home where he can feel safe, loved, and appreciated for the gentle sweetheart he is. If you`re looking for a loyal companion who will reward your kindness with pure devotion, Kozo is your guy. Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog’s individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with time and a gentle approach, most of these dogs adapt quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is incredibly rewarding. To learn more about our dogs and start the adoption process, visit our website.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Kozo, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
