HIGHLIGHT:- May require another confident dog in the home to help with his confidence.Meet Hank – A Shy but Sweet Young PomeranianHank is a 1-year-old Pomeranian who weighs just 13 pounds, and he’s as fluffy as he is gentle. This little guy is still finding his footing in the world and can be very timid around new people and situations. But beneath that cautious exterior is a sweet and sensitive pup who`s just beginning to discover how good life can be.Because Hank is still young and learning, he would benefit from a patient family and possibly a confident dog companion who can help show him the ropes. He gets comfort from being around other dogs and is starting to open up slowly, one little tail wag at a time.Hank is still working on socialization and adjusting to all the new things life as a loved pet includes—like leash walking, treats from your hand, and understanding that people are kind. He’ll need a home that can offer him encouragement, understanding, and time to build trust at his own pace.With love, structure, and gentle support, Hank will blossom into the playful, loyal companion he’s meant to be. Could your home be the safe space he’s been waiting for?*********Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog’s individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with time and a gentle approach, most of these dogs adapt quickly.
