My story

Meet Mac Mac is a young, handsome mixed-breed charmer with a snowy white coat sprinkled in the cutest black spots you've ever seen. This spotted sweetheart is as sturdy as he is snuggly — a solid boy who’s absolutely convinced he’s a lap dog (and honestly, who’s going to argue with that?). Playful, curious, and full of tail-wagging energy, Mac loves exploring the world around him — but nothing beats the joy of human affection. Whether he's romping around with a toy or melting into your arms for a cuddle, Mac's friendly, loving nature shines through in everything he does. Mac recently got a taste of home life, and he did amazing! He slept soundly through the night in his crate and proved to be fully potty trained. Mornings are his favorite—he greets the day with joyful zoomies and a wagging tail. Mac thrives with the companionship of another dog and has a very playful, high-energy style, so he’ll do best with a resident pup who enjoys that same level of play. He's still learning to recognize when his dog friends need a break, so a tolerant, equally active playmate would be ideal. One of Mac’s absolute highlights? Kids—he adores them and did remarkably well around them in the home. He’s a fun, affectionate pup ready to bring joy and energy to the right family! If you're looking for a loyal sidekick with a big heart and even bigger personality, Mac just might be your perfect match. The adoption fee is $350 + tax and covers age-appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter.  We're open from 12-4 PM every day EXCEPT Wednesday! Did you know you don't need to have an appointment to visit our available cats and dogs***? Simply drop by and if you find a potential new furry friend, you can fill out an application on the day you visit. Go to townandcountryanimalrescue.org to fill out our digital application. Applications are typically processed in 3-5 business days.  Once you're approved, you can return on the date and time set up by your adoption counselor, with your family for a meet and greet. If it goes well, you can take your new best friend home on the meet and greet day!  If you have other dogs in your home, they must all meet the potential adoptee.  It may save you a trip to bring them with you when you visit, if you are certain you want to adopt a new family member.  ***Please note that animals in foster homes cannot be viewed at our rescue, and appointments are still required to meet them.  Please be sure to follow us on Facebook to learn more about Town and Country Animal Rescue and our mission.  ##2370369##
