Spay scheduled for 5/13 at Brandywine Valley SPCA in Dover. Keeping this appointment is a condition of adoption. As such, adopters must live within 1 hour of DE and be willing to travel to Dover for the appt. Housebroken: Yes Crate trained: Yes Good in the car: Yes Good on a leash: Yes Energy level: Low but will play if engaged Need a fenced in yard: No Dog Friendly: Yes but needs a slow intro. She doesn't like dogs she hasn't met approaching her from behind. If yes, does your foster need another dog in its adoptive home? No Cat Friendly? She passed her cat test with flying colors at the shelter, but there aren't any in her foster home. Kid Friendly: Yes If yes, what's the youngest child you'd recommend they be placed with? Any with appropriate supervision. Special traits that make your foster special or that we need to know about them? Penelope is a laid back lady who loves attention and beds. She is friendly, quiet, and perfectly content to spend her day snoozing in her bed or chewing on her toys. She's a perfect medium sized dog that would likely be great in any type of home; though she may take some time to adjust to a lot of stairs or an elevator if you live in an apartment or condo.
