My story

ABOUT MYLA Myla is a stunning 3-year-old girl who came to us after her previous owner could no longer care for her. While she's still adjusting to shelter life, we’re slowly getting to know this beautiful tuxedo queen. Myla is on the shy side, both with people and other cats. It takes her a little time to feel safe enough to come out from her hiding spots, but she’s getting braver every day. We’re confident that once she’s settled into a quiet, loving home, she’ll blossom into a wonderful, affectionate companion. Once you’ve earned her trust, Myla rewards you with the sweetest, softest little meows you’ve ever heard, it’s absolutely heart-melting! Being brave can be exhausting, though, so she often retreats to one of her favorite cozy hiding places for a nap. As she continues to settle in and her personality shines through, we’ll be sure to share more updates. For now, she’s just looking for someone patient and kind who can help her feel safe and loved. If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.
