My story

To say that Quentin is disappointed would be an understatement. He arrived at the Mesquite Animal Shelter initially on 4/21 as a stray. Imagine his joy at getting an adoption and thinking he had left the shelter life behind once and for all and would be part of a loving family. Unfortunately, he was returned on 5/29 by his owner. The 9 year old daughter was nervous and uneasy around Quentin. Owner gave the situation 2 weeks before feeling that it was not a good fit and that his daughter wasn`t ready for a dog, at least one as active as Quentin. He certainly is a lively and high-energy fellow and a better fit would be a family with older children or adults only. Quentin weighs 42lbs, about 3 years old and is neutered. It’s the brown patch over one eye, the standup ears, and the black spots on his face and coat that make him so adorable! He has a sweet and bubbly personality. Quentin is confident and outgoing, nothing about him is shy or timid. He knows the sit command, and he will do so for treats which he takes quite nicely. When I took him to the shelter yard, he did his business immediately. He is friendly and likes to be loved on. Won’t you please help this deserving happy-go-lucky lively boy find his perfect fit in a family that will shower him with TLC?

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Quentin, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
