Zuri

My story

Zuri’s a 6yo 13lb Chi mix. She’s 13+ kid friendly. She’s house and pee pad trained. She’d be good with a secure fenced yard and/or going for harness leashed walks once she is comfortable with her people and environment. She loves toys, playing fetch, cuddling with her people. She needs a little warm up time with new people and dogs. Zuri’s foster requires a calm, patient home with no other dogs that gives her space and time to get to know them and the new environment, let her come to them at her own pace, a secure fenced in yard along with when and if she comes to this point be allowed on the furniture and sleep in bed with her people. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far. Zuri as all dogs should have 2 weeks in their new home with just their people who live in the home and to not have people over for at least 2 weeks. Dogs need time to settle in and adjust to their new people and environment first so they can learn to trust them first. Zuri’s spayed, vaccinated, HW negative and microchipped.
