My story

Garfield and Pharaoh are a bonded pair of dashing orange tabby boys, both about 2 years old and weighing around 9 pounds. These two were once part of a large outdoor colony, but life has taken a sweeter turn—and they’re loving it more every day. While they still carry that cool-cat, independent vibe 😎, they’ve started to really lean into the good stuff: sunbeams, soft beds, gentle pets, and most importantly…treats! 🐟 With a little patience and a calm environment, these boys could absolutely bloom into quirky, low-key house cats who enjoy life alongside their humans—on their terms, of course.Garfield is the chill thinker of the two, often lounging with his white-tipped tail flicking in contentment. Pharaoh, with his orange and white coat, tends to keep a watchful eye on his surroundings, but he’s the first to come in for snacks. They’re almost always side by side, whether curled up in a sunny window or on the prowl together, scouting for adventure (or bugs 🐞). Both boys do well with other cats and have lived peacefully with respectful dogs. They’re tidy, quiet, and oh-so-easy to love once you understand their pace. With their shared background, they’d also make excellent working cats for a barn, shop, or home where a few mice need managing. 🧀 But don’t be surprised if they decide the couch life is more their style after all—because lately, they’re soaking up affection like they’ve been house cats all along.Garfield and Pharaoh are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to go. If you’ve got a soft spot for independent charmers with room to grow (and a little sunshine to spare ☀️), give us a call at (479) 394-5682. These two are ready to bring their quiet magic into your world. 💛****************All animals at HSO are current on their vaccinations and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption. If not already spayed/neutered, there may be a short delay between when you select this pet and when they are ready to go home.Breed and age are determined based on observable physical traits. Actual lineage and birth date are rarely known.Adoption Fees:-$60 for cats-$60 for dogs over 6 years-$80 for dogs 6 months old to 6 years-$100 for puppies up to 6 monthsCome visit our pets Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-2pm.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Garfield, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
