☕ Hello, I'm Espresso – Your Loyal, Lap-Loving Shadow ☕If you're reading this, maybe you're looking for a new best friend. Well... me too. My name is Espresso, and I’m a sleek, 3-year-old house panther with soft black fur and just a hint of smoky gray markings—my quiet Siamese side peeking through. I weigh about 12 pounds, just the right size for curling up on your legs, your lap, or your pillow if you'll let me.I spent most of my life in a loving home where I was safe, cherished, and well cared for. Sadly, my human’s living situation changed, and they had to make the incredibly hard choice to bring me here to the Humane Society of the Ouachitas. They didn’t want to let me go—but they wanted me to find someone who could give me the love and stability I deserve.I’m a tidy boy, fully litter trained, and I’ve had plenty of indoor living experience. I’ve also been around children and dogs and get along just fine with both. When it comes to other cats, I’ll be honest—I prefer to be the king of my castle. I do well with laid-back lady cats, and I might warm up to a young male kitten, but older males just aren’t really my cup of catnip.What I really want is a calm, cozy home where I can be near my person. I don’t ask for much—just a soft place to nap, some gentle pets, and a window where I can watch the world go by. Once I trust you, I’ll follow you like a shadow and purr so softly you’ll wonder how you ever lived without me.I’m neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to start my new chapter.If you think you might be the one I’ve been waiting for, please call my friends at the shelter at 479-394-5682.
