My story

Hi, I’m Pippy!   Yes, the rumours are true—I’m a tiny, floofy lady of mystery (Mini Poodle, 8–10-ish years young), and I’ve had  quite  the journey. I won’t go into the drama (let’s just say it involved a not-so-fabulous puppy mill and a daring escape), but thanks to a kind animal control officer and my rockstar foster fam, I’m living the good life now—and ready to find my forever home! So, here’s the scoop:   I’m sweet as pie , but I’ve been through some stuff, okay? So I can be a little shy and skittish at first. I’m still learning that people = snacks, snuggles, and Netflix time.   I like other dogs  just fine! No drama here.   Cats? Cool. I don't mind ‘em.   Alone time?  I’ll admit I might bark a little when you leave, but I promise I’m not destructive. I'm just expressing my... artistic side.   Walking on a leash?  Haha, nope, not yet. I’m more of a "carry me like the royalty I am" type. I’ll get there with some practice, but for now, I’m what you might call a "flight risk." (If my harness slips? Poof—Pippy’s gone.) A secure backyard would be a dream while I learn to trust the leash.   Potty skills?  Pee pad? Got it! Outside potty? Still a work in progress, but I’m trying my best.  My favorite thing? Hanging out in a cozy box in my foster mom’s office. It’s my tiny throne.  Oh—and I’ve had all my vet stuff done, including dental surgery, so my breath is minty-fresh.  Ideal home? – Patient, gentle humans who get that I’m still figuring things out – A yard to safely practice walking – Indoor life only, please (outside is cool, but I don’t want to live there again) – Bonus points if you have a cozy box waiting for me If you’re into quiet company, gentle tail wags, and winning the trust of a formerly nervous little puffball (with excellent hair), I might just be your girl.
