My story

My beauty runs through and through. Yes, I may be a year old and a mommy of four but I am still a kitten at heart. I am Pearl with a purr and I'm quite a talker. I have been known to have a good conversation with folks and then stop when I receive attention. Maybe I only talk a lot when I want attention. A good head rub or chin scratch will have me dancing on my tippy toes along with that good back scratch. Let me tell you about my bird-watching skills. Looking out the window at the birds and sitting in the sunshine are a part of that "Best Day Ever" feeling. But you know what would be even better? To have that "Best Day Ever" with you! Are you interested in adopting Pearl or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received. Completed applications can be sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org , faxed to 919-300-5524 or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center or Timber Drive next to Home Depot).
