My story

After being found as a stray with a litter of puppies, Maya has left her mama days behind and is now focused on enjoying the good life, full of calm, kindness, and connection. This gentle 39-pound girl is dog- and cat-friendly, and especially adores the company of small dogs. She’d thrive in a home with a confident canine companion to help her continue building trust and confidence. Though shy at first, once Maya warms up, her affectionate side shines. She’s all about belly rubs, gentle pets, and curling up next to her people. Maya is housebroken, crate trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. She’s starting to pick up basic commands and responds best to patient, positive reinforcement. She’s also done well meeting adults and kids, always calm and kind. Now that Maya’s “mama” work is complete, she's ready to live the quiet, joyful life she deserves. This wallflower is ready to blossom!
