My story

I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog Adoption:14Meet Draceo – a silly and squeaky-toy-loving stud muffin on the lookout for his loving home! This 2-year-old pit bull mix is 67 pounds of high-energy fun and major toy motivation. Draceo is the kind of dog who can entertain himself for hours with his favorite squeaky, tossing it in the air and proudly showing it off like he just won a gold medal. He’s a confident and independent guy who is working on his basic manners, but don’t let that fool you—he’s smart, curious, and ready to learn (especially if the reward is a toy). He needs leash manners refresher course, so he’ll need an experienced adopter who can help him master his manners and guide him with consistency and structure. In dog intros, Draceo brings bold energy and a bit of a linebacker vibe—lots of excitement, a little stiffness, and not much interest in backing down. Because of this, he may be selective with dog friends and would do best with well-matched pals who can handle his intensity—or he’d love being your one-and-only adventure buddy.
