My story

I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Cat Adoption:25Meet Wes, a dapper young tuxedo gent who’s part food critic, part budding cuddle enthusiast! Wes has been on a journey of trust and is making wonderful progress. He's a certified foodie—sometimes accepting hand-delivery with a distinguished nod of approval. Initially shy, this sweet boy has gradually let down his "stranger danger" guard to include gentle pets and the occasional chin scratch when he’s feeling comfortable. He’s also mastered clear communication, politely backing away when his social battery needs recharging. He appreciates a quieter environment with no children. For a patient adopter willing to respect his boundaries, Wes promises to reward you by gradually promoting you from "Acceptable Food Provider" to cherished companion.  May 27, 2025, 10:10 pm
