My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Introducing Lovely Lexie, another adorable puppy from the Sweet Sally litter! Lexie currently weighs about 15 pounds and is expected to grow into a medium-sized dog. Lexie is exceptionally lovable and becomes incredibly happy during lap time. There is nothing that makes Lexie more excited than going to bed and waking up with her foster mom! She thrives on cuddles and is quite playful, just like her fellow pups.  Lexie is about 90% potty trained and the infrequent accidents while in her foster home were due to a change in environment. (Please expect some adjustment time as she learns a new home and routine) She is whip smart and extremely quick to learn. We are confident potty training Lexie will not be an issue for a patient adopter.  When the weather is nice, she enjoys playing outdoors. She does well with stairs down and up. Once she's had her fun, she can dash back inside and up the stairs to her cozy bed in a flash! With her gentle and loving disposition, Lexie is sure to make a wonderful family dog. She is crate trained but needs leash training, so if you do not have a fully fenced yard, she will require additional training in that area. Lexie can be quite nervous on a leash because of all the sounds and needs to be socialized intentionally with new people. Lexie gets along well with other dogs but would be extremely happy as the only dog of the house.  Like all puppies, Lexie is a blank slate that requires time and patience to develop into the fantastic dog we know she can become.  Please note that we require the use of a martingale collar at the time of adoption to ensure Lexie’s safety and security. If you don’t have a martingale collar, one can be purchased from Pixie Mamas for an additional $10.   Lexie is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and treated for fleas and worms. Her adoption fee is $400.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 5, 2025, 10:26 am

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Lexie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
