My story

Dog Name: Innie Breed: Lab Mix. Sex: Male Age: 17 months. Weight: 70lbs Medical Needs: none Housebroken: Yes, but needs frequent outings. At his last home, he was allowed to go on puppy pads in the house. Crate trained: Yes, tossing a treat or one of his toys and he’ll go right in. He also likes to just hang out in there when he’s resting or chewing. Good in the car: Yes. Open windows make him a bit nervous, but he travels well. Good on a leash: Working on it. I’ve been using a slip collar, but would recommend a prong collar as he’s always eager to go go go. He is learning to stay by my side as long as I keep enough treats in my pocket. Energy level: High, he is still a one year old baby boy and is always excited when his people come home. Need a fenced in yard: A fenced yard or a property with a lot of land would be very good for him however, we’ve been getting by with long walks. Dog Friendly: and he came from a home with three other dogs. He gets along well with my eight-year-old pit mix. They play constantly. If yes, does your foster need another dog in its adoptive homes? While he loves having a playmate, I think he would be ok with being a spoiled only child. And he’s so loving, he’s easy to spoil. Cat Friendly? Unknown. Kid Friendly: I don’t know. He is high energy and we are retraining him not to jump up. He was encouraged to give “standup hugs“ by his previous owner. If yes, what's the youngest child you'd recommend they be placed with? 8+ he’s very happy boy and wags his tail a lot. He means no harm, but It can be quite a slap. Special traits that make your foster special or that we need to know about them? Innie is super affectionate. He loves to snuggle up and sit with you. He loves pets anytime you’re willing to give them to him. He loves his chew toys and is learning to play fetch. A family who is ready and willing to work with him and teach him all the fun games and tricks a dog should know will be rewarded with an amazing pet. Fosters Location: Bishopville, Maryland ##2346966##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Innie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
