My story

Meet Klawdia! Klawdia is our resident senior golden girl who recently arrived to HAP when her owner passed away. Coming to us was a huge change for Miss Klawdia who previously only ever lived in a home with one family before so she's been a bit overwhelmed and nervous. However, one thing hasn't changed and that's Klawdia's love for cuddles and affection! This sweetheart would spend all day long getting pets and rubs and her heart would be content. When she's not soaking up all the love she deserves, she's a pro at cat naps and can be found getting her beauty sleep. Due to her age, Klawdia would do best in a home as the only cat or with older cats that would respect her boundaries. If you're looking for a companion to enjoy the slower, quieter pace of life, Klawdia is your girl! If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.
