My story

Meet Buggy! This dancing queen got a second chance at life and is making the most of every minute. Buggy was found alone on train tracks with a severely broken leg and a traumatic head injury that cost her one eye. Thankfully, she was rushed to safety and we were able to get her the urgent medical care she needed. While Buggy's eye couldn’t be saved, her broken-in-four-places leg was given a chance - and Buggy took it and ran (literally!). After just one day in her cast, she was zooming around her foster home, full of life and joy. Today, Buggy is thriving. She loves people (has never met a stranger), especially ones she can snuggle with. Even with her leg still healing, she LOVES going for walks, rolling in the grass, and soaking up sunshine outdoors. But Buggy's true passion? Dancing! Buggy dances to celebrate every meal - she's a huge foodie - as well as to indicate when she needs to go outside to potty. We're not sure if she's doing tap, ballet, or hip-hop, but we love it! Buggy a testament to resilience - nothing can dim her spirit. Playful, affectionate, and always ready for a good time, she’s looking for a forever home where she can continue to shine. She gets along well with other dogs and would be fine in a home where she's part of a pack or the only one. She's housetrained and does well as long as she's let out for potty breaks frequently enough (she'll dance to let you know when she has to go!). She's great on the leash, rides well in the car, and is happy to stay home alone while her humans are out. She loves soft dog beds but is not a fan of crates. Buggy's gotten a second chance at life and is determined to enjoy every minute of it. She's looking for a family that will give her all the snuggles, take her on all the adventures, and - most importantly - dance with her like no one's watching!
