My story

I’m a 1-year-old Bluetick Coonhound weighing 59 pounds, and if you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate, and adventure-loving best friend, I just might be the one for you! I’m a happy-go-lucky girl who loves exploring the world with my nose—true to my hound nature, I find joy in every new scent and would make a fantastic hiking or walking buddy.I’m great with kids and other dogs, and I love being part of the action! Whether it’s playtime in the yard or a long stroll through the park, I’m happiest when I’m with my people. When the day winds down, I turn into the ultimate snuggle bug—I’d love nothing more than to curl up on the couch beside you for some well-earned relaxation.I have a medium energy level, so I can keep up on adventures but also know how to settle down when it’s time to rest. I walk well on a leash, load into a car easily, and ride like a champ. I’m also crate-trained and know how to use a doggie door, so I’m already ahead of the game when it comes to house manners. While I’m usually a quiet girl, I do have a protective side and will let you know if something seems off—so I can be both your cuddle buddy and a loyal watchdog!The only thing I’m not too fond of? Cats. I’d do best in a home without them, but that just means I have even more love to give my humans!
