My story

I'm available for adoption at ACC's Mobile Adoption Event on Saturday, March 15 from 11am - 5pm and Sunday, March 16 from 11am - 4pm at The Spot BK, 232 Varet St, Brooklyn, NY 11206. Adoptions are in-person and first come, first served, so make sure to get there early. You can apply for me now, but it will not put me on hold for you. I can't wait to meet you!A volunteer writes:Lady is as good as it gets. The perfect little tuxedo gal, an eight month old babe, so ready to start a new page in her life...with you! Lady was surrendered as a new and elderly family member was very allergic to cats. She comes with glowing comments: friendly, affectionate, polite, gentle, a lap cat getting along with everybody, including kids and her housemate cat(also rehomed). Lady is peaceful in her kennel. She comes quickly forward as I come with "presents". She loves treats...She leans, head bunts and purrs and even attempts to come on my lap. She is curious like a youngster should be but listens dutifully to my commands. Pretty Lady passed her behavior evaluation with flying colors. She is already spayed and could go home...TODAY!Lady is a social, calm, and sweet cat. She was curled up at the back of the top cubby and perks up when spoken to and opening the door, she sniffs treats offered and welcomes petting on the head. She gets up to stretch her body and legs and then walks forward to greet the assessor. She leans in for cheek rubs and raises her hips and tail when stroking her body. During pick up, she is calm and relaxed, rests her front limbs on the assessor's arm, and allows petting all over when held, hugged, and kissed for 10 seconds. After placing her back down, she continues to appreciate more petting and cheek rubs.Lady interacts with the assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting.
