My story

Everyone, meet Buster.This cuddle-bug of an older boy is sure to steal your hearts for the Springtime!Buster is approximately 12-13 years of age but has an enormous amount of life and love to give you and your family if you open your hearts and home to this guy. He truly enjoys being around his humans.He knows how to sit and shake and takes his treats so very politely. He`s not overly playful with toys, but might enjoy a game of fetch here and there.He`s respectful of cats. He is interested in them and is happy to sniff nose-to-nose. If the cat runs away he`s not one to run after them.He`ll willingly sleep in his open crate during the day so long as it`s comfortable. Buster loves loves loves his walks. He`ll bark with excitement when he realizes it`s time to go on one. He does well with his two 25 minute walks a day. Without them he`ll be more vocal.When he gets to know you he`ll try to lick your chin when he`s excited. Sometimes he`s so excited that he`ll try to climb you. Being a senior boy, he doesn`t really have the ability to jump up very well though.He doesn`t seem to be terribly treat motivated and prefers plain shredded chicken over most dog treats.He will let you know when he wants attention. He yawls when he wants belly rubs or pets. Buster is negative for Heartworm and is completely up-to-date on all his vaccines.Buster is currently in a foster home, so if you are interested in meeting him please complete an application and we will call to set up an appointment for you to meet this good boy!
