My story

Meet Sandy, a beautiful white and orange tabby with a heart full of potential. At about a year old, Sandy has faced some difficult challenges in her young life. She was abandoned by her owner and left to starve, which left her very skinny and in need of care. Despite her rough start, Sandy is slowly gaining weight and her health is improving every day.Sandy is a shy girl who may need some time to adjust to her new surroundings. Once she feels safe and comfortable, she starts to show her sweet and loving nature. She’ll need a patient and understanding owner who can give her the space and time she needs to feel secure. With the right care, Sandy will blossom into a gentle and affectionate companion.If you’re looking for a cat who may start off a little reserved but will grow into a loyal and loving friend, Sandy might be the perfect fit for you. She just needs a calm, quiet home where she can continue to heal and trust again. Will you be the one to help Sandy find the happiness she truly deserves?If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is $75.
