My story

Meet Lemon Loaf! Meet Lemon Loaf, the gorgeous tabby girl with the cutest little face and a personality as bold as her name. Once a stray who had to fend for herself, she learned to be independent—but she’s also discovered that life is much better with humans to love. Lemon is a total lap-lover who adores snoozing next to her people and soaking up affection. She’s sweet, snuggly, and full of charm—but like any cat with character, she can get a little overstimulated when petted in certain areas. (Honestly… who doesn’t?) As for other cats, Lemon has shown she can happily coexist with a calm, respectful feline friend. She may never be besties with them, but she’s polite, tolerant, and content to do her own thing as long as they give her space. Lemon will thrive in a home where she can enjoy plenty of love, comfy laps, and humans who appreciate her mix of independence and affection. Ready to add a sassy, cuddly, loaf-tastic sweetheart to your home? Lemon is your girl. Lemon Loaf is currently at our PetSmart location on Woodward. If you are interested in meeting her, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org. Adoption fees are as follows: $175 for a single cat or kitten, $225 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.
