My story

Meet Betty Sue — 40 lbs of pure wiggle and charm! Don't let her compact size fool you — this pint-sized pittie is overflowing with personality. Betty Sue greets every new friend (human or dog!) with a full-body wag that could register on the Richter scale and the sweetest brown eyes you’ve ever seen. Her ideal day? 80% couch cuddles, 20% sunbathing queen. She's a professional snuggler who moonlights as a backyard lounger. Not much of a barker unless her foster brother eggs her on — in which case, she joins in with gusto for the fun of it. Betty is crate-trained and considers her crate her cozy little sanctuary. Potty training is still a work in progress, but she's a total lady in her crate and never has accidents in there. She’s best buds with her foster dog brother and has declared the resident cat “meh” — totally cool, just not worth the effort. She’s got a signature move called the leg hug, and she’s never met a person she didn’t instantly adore (office folks included — she’s an excellent cubicle companion). A quick heads-up: Betty thinks livestock might be a fun game of chase, so she shouldn’t be left unsupervised with barnyard friends. But for human cuddles? She’s always game. Betty Sue is currently living her best foster life in Oakdale, but what she really wants is a forever couch (and family) to call her own. ✨ If you're ready for daily snuggles and goofy grins, fill out an application to meet the one and only Betty Sue! ✨

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Betty Sue, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
