My story

Chip is a lovable, energetic companion with a heart full of joy and a sensitive soul. When his foster first met him at the shelter, Chip wrapped them in a big hug, and they knew he had a beautiful spirit that deserved a second chance. Friendly and playful, Chip thrives on connection and loves making people smile. Whether he’s chasing toys in the backyard, soaking up the sunshine, or enjoying a stroll around the neighborhood, he approaches life with enthusiasm. Despite an old injury, Chip’s zest for life is unstoppable, and he’s always ready for his next adventure. But also always ready for a nap too! Chip will be down to go on an adventure though too! Car rides are fun and easy easy for this cool dude! Chip listens to directions easily and is incredibly food-motivated, making training both fun and rewarding. He already knows how to sit and lay down, place, crate and off! Chip is also crate-trained! (such a pro!) he happily goes in for meals or when his foster needs to leave for an errand. Chip is a master walker! He doesnt pull on leash and walks very well! We are still working on his excitement levels but practice makes progress! Chip would be a fantastic match for a home with another dog, as he adores the companionship of both people and canine friends- medium to large size! Cats? Probably not as he is prey driven when squirrels and little critters are around!
