My story

Hello my name is Princess, I’m from Minnesota! From her foster: Princess is the sweetest old lady you’ll ever meet. Affectionately described as a low-riding, snorty, house hippo, this lovable senior girl is as charming as they come! Princess is a tail-wagging pro—her joy and affection are contagious. She hasn't met a single person she doesn't like and her tail rarely stops wagging. She’s a champion cuddler and will happily snuggle up for movie nights or lazy afternoons. Despite her age, Princess is an active 12 year old. She enjoys walks in the neighborhood, de-stuffing any plush toy, and playing with the resident 1 year old dog. At night, she’s a perfect angel, sleeping soundly in her crate. Princess is house-trained, though her “old lady bladder” means she appreciates a few extra potty breaks throughout the day. She’s a low-maintenance companion who simply wants to love and be loved. From the Vet: Princess came into rescue and needed to be evaluated for several medical concerns, but since then a plan has been determined for her long term care. Princess has had 1 surgery performed with TBB to address a few of her issues. As a short nosed bully breed she had a very difficult time breathing normally, so a soft palette resection was performed to improve her ability to breathe. She was also spayed and had a mass removed from her chest. The mass was found to be benign so no follow up is indicated for this. Routine monitoring of any other masses that may appear with a primary care vet would be recommended for her future adopters. Princess's eyes were also a concern for her, however she was stared on a eye ointment medication that has helped improve her dry eye symptoms and surgical intervention for her eyes is no longer recommended. An eye recheck in August 2025 would be recommended to her future adopters as part of her routine care post adoption. TBB will agree to cover her needed dental procedure (scheduling pending) along with 1 round of medications and 1 recheck as deemed necessary by TBB's medical team.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Princess D63756, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
