My story

Hello my name is Monty, I'm from Minnesota! Monty is a very gentle cat with lots of love to give! When he first arrived in his foster home, he was understandably a little scared and shy, and he spent about a week hiding in a cupboard. But now that he’s feeling much more comfortable, he loves to cuddle with and rub up on his foster family! He’s still easily startled and a bit shy. For these reasons, Monty would prefer a quieter household, but would probably do well in a wide range of settings. He has done well with our resident dog, but it’s clear that he’s not a big fan of dogs. Monty has had perfect litter box use, and he loves to eat. He goes into a frenzy if he knows it’s time for wet food! He doesn’t seem to be a particularly playful, prey-driven, or athletic cat, so if you’re looking for a more low-energy companion, Monty would be a good fit! Monty is a sweet and sensitive soul who would love to shower you with affection!
