My story

Hi, I’m Bella, a sweet, affectionate, mixed-breed girl with a beautiful black & white coat.  I'm four years old and fully grown at 39 pounds, with so much love to give: I'm just looking for a patient, kind family who will give me the love I need to blossom! General Behavior: Bella is a shy, gentle girl who has good basic manners and loves a good snuggle.  She is most comfortable when her humans are in sight. Likes & Dislikes: Bella loves her walks and getting out in the sunshine, as well as car rides, peanut butter in Kongs, and belly rubs. She doesn't like being alone and is fearful of new things and loud noises (vacuum, lawn mower, and dishwasher to name a few).  She can take or leave toys but her playful side comes out as her confidence grows. Training: This sweet girl walks well on a leash and has good basic manners.  She is house trained in her foster home and will need to continue being let out on a regular and consistent schedule.  Medical: Bella takes Benadryl seasonally for allergies but otherwise only needs her heartworm and flea/tick preventive medicines like any pup. Other Animals: Bella does well with dogs of all sizes and is experienced with calm, laid-back dogs and playful dogs.  She would benefit from having another canine companion in her new home to help her adjust and feel safe.   She does not have experience with cats, but her foster thinks she would be OK with them.  Children: This gentle girl is good with kids of all ages. Home: Bella will do best in a single-family home.  When her humans leave, she becomes anxious and may whine or bark at first until she builds confidence. Nonetheless, when home alone she can have free rein in the house and be left unsupervised with other dogs.  Bella does best at night with a blanket to comfort her and enjoys sleeping in the people bed. Grooming: This beautiful girl will just need baths and nail trims.  Overall: If you are looking for a faithful, affectionate companion who needs a little extra patience to build her confidence but will reward you forever with love, Bella may be the one for you! Are you the one for Bella? Please visit our website www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org where you will find the application to adopt. You’ll be put in contact with the foster family for more information if it’s a potential match. Bella is up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption donation is $375. ##2293262##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Bella, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
