My story

Meet Jeeves, a distinguished gentleman looking for his forever home! At 5 years old and 51 lbs, Jeeves is a true charmer with a personality as warm as his adorable face. He's a well-behaved boy who seems to be house-trained and has a love for car rides—he'll hop in all by himself and enjoys the ride, often sticking his head out the window or smooshing his face next to yours for some extra snuggles. Jeeves is a big fan of affection and will lean right into you, melting your heart in the process. He's also highly treat-motivated, making him a quick learner, though he might get a little bored with toys and won’t always bring them back. On the leash, he’s generally great, with just an occasional mild pull. While he's not thrilled about baths, he tolerates them well, proving he’s a good sport. This sweet boy can be a little head shy at first, especially when someone reaches over his head, but once he's comfortable, he adores face pets and ear scratches. And let’s not forget that his adorable face sometimes peeps out the cutest bottom teefers, making him absolutely irresistible. If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion with a heart of gold, Jeeves might just be the perfect fit. He's ready to find a family that will give him all the love and attention he deserves. Could that family be yours? As always, we strongly recommend bringing any resident dogs to the shelter for a meet and greet with potential new family members to be sure it's a good match. If bringing a dog for a meet and greet, please bring proof of up to date rabies, bordetella, and DHPP vaccines. To meet your future pet, come to Guilford County Animal Services between 12 and 4 any day except Tuesday!
