My story

Meet Magnolia! If you`re looking for a happy go lucky best friend to add into your life, then Magnolia is the one. Magnolia will need a few months to learn her new life but we see her being eager to meet lots of friends and collect all the snuggles and kisses she can. She is food motivated, very smart, and excited to learn. She knows basic commands, and is a great walking buddy! While we have introduced her to dogs here at the shelter, she shows us that she does not want to engage further with them. She is fine to walk by or even walk with another dogs. She is a bit too focused on cats so a stress free, no cat or dog home would be ideal. Magnolia has been through a lot; so a stable, routine, environment where she can properly decompress and learn about the new life you are giving her is really important. She had some trouble in her first new home being able to accept visitors. We believe she will need gradual, positive, introductions once she has fully decompressed and gets to know her new family first. Too much too soon and she can become defensive about her surroundings. Because of everything Magnolia has been through and what is in her best interest, a quiet but active home with older kids would be best. Please bring the whole family to come visit with Magnolia and see the amazing love and joy can certainly bring to your life!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Magnolia, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
