My story

Frost`ll make your heart melt!Frost is a sweet, resilient cat who has endured more than most. After injuring his eyes outdoors, he was brought to us and had to have them removed. Now safe and sound with us, this gentle soul is adjusting to his new life without sight.ABOUT FROST:- In foster- Adult, domestic shorthair, male- Frost is initially wary due to his blindness, but he is incredibly gentle. He can give a little hiss if startled, so be sure to let him know of your presence!- Frost finds comfort in his cozy cubby with a favourite blanket and cat toy. He will retreat to his cubby when he needs alone time.- He ventures outside his cubby a few times daily to stretch, sunbathe, roll around, play with his plush toy by himself, and enjoy head and cheek rubs.- Frost leans into head and chin scratches when feeling safe, showing his affectionate side.- He`s a quiet and chill guy until food enters the picture, as he loves to remind his foster when it`s time for breakfast and dinner.- Frost has FIV, which is a virus that weakens the immune system of a cat but is not transmissible to humans or other species. Cats who have FIV can live just as long as other cats if they are properly cared for with a good diet, an indoor home, and a loving family.- Frost also lives with early kidney disease which is easily managed with a special diet. - He does not require any medication at this time.- Frost is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and has received core vaccinations.FROST’S IDEAL HOME:- He is looking for a calm, loving environment where he can continue to thrive. - A home without other cats, small children, or dogs is best. With patience and understanding, Frost will undoubtedly become a cherished companion for anyone willing to offer him a forever home. If you think Frost would thrive in your home, submit an adoption application today! If you have any questions about Frost or the adoption process, please contact cats@etobicokehumanesociety.com

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Frost, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
