My story

She’s Peety the Sweetie!Peety, a gentle Balinese cat, was (very!) reluctantly surrendered to EHS when her owner’s new baby was showing signs of allergies. Peety has always been a beloved pet, so this change of events in her senior years has her understandably bewildered. Still, this relaxed girl is taking the change in stride, showing affection toward the new humans she meets by giving kisses and readily accepting pets. ABOUT PEETY:-In foster-Peety is very cuddly and loves affection. If you’re looking for a lap cat, she’s the one for you! -She is a calm cat, but still enjoys playing with any toys that roll across the floor. -Peety adores having her beautiful coat brushed. -She has been described as “super friendly!” -She has a diagnosis of asthma and takes a daily inhaled medication. -Peety is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations. PEETY’S IDEAL HOME:-Peety must be the only cat in the house and requires a quiet home. -She gets along well with calm, gentle, school-aged children. -She lived with an older dog in her younger years and they got along well. -Peety is an overweight cat who requires an owner who will help her get to a healthy weight. Why not schedule a meeting today and meet Peety? She might be the big dose of sweetness you’ve been looking for! If you have any questions about Peety or the adoption process, please contact cats@etobicokehumanesociety.com

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Peety, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
