My story

Caramel is living in a foster home. Fill out our quick adoption survey, and then we can set up a phone call or meet and greet with the foster! Caramel is: Spayed: Yes! Up to date on vaccines: Yes! Microchipped: Yes! Our microchips will automatically register when an adoption is finalized - Currently taking medication for anxiety support - Currently on antifungal and pain medications due to Valley Fever and an autoimmune joint condition More about Caramel: Housebroken: Doing well on a consistent routine! Crate trained: She has done well with free roam when home alone and overnight Leash walking: Doing well! Dog social: Yes! She lives with a respectful resident dog in her foster home and has been doing well. She loves other dogs, but she prefers calmer dog pals who will respect her space so as not to overwhelm her. Cat social: She has lived successfully with a cat (and bunny!) in a prior foster home Kid friendly: Yes! She has lived with kids ages 2 and up, and has done amazingly with them. Caramel likes: - Giving out kisses - Food time! She darts around and spins in circles and can barely sit/wait because she's vibrating with anticipation - Being told how beautiful she is Caramel is a wonderful, adaptable girl who has proven to be very resilient and special. Despite some medical issues that are now in a good spot with management, she has remained a delightful and loving pup even on her bad days. She would love a home that can ensure her medical conditions remain under control, so she can be her happiest and healthiest self! Caramel's adoption fee has been sponsored by a generous supporter, and she is eager to share her big heart with her adoptive family! Next steps: Email adopt@onetail.org with questions, or submit an application online and we'll be in touch to schedule a meeting: https://www.onetail.org/apply-to-adopt/ *** Our adoption application stays on file for one year and can apply to any dog in our program. Once the app is submitted you will receive an email within 48-72 hours. For additional questions, email adopt@onetail.org ***

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Caramel, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
