My story

Martha is living in a foster home. Fill out our quick adoption survey, and then we can set up a phone call or meet and greet with the foster! Martha is: Spayed: Yes! Up to date on vaccines: Yes! Crate trained: She has done well with free roam when home alone, but can take a bit of time to settle initially. Leash walking: Doing well! She loves to get her walks and sniffs in. Dog social: Yes! She previously lived with other dogs Cat social: Unknown Kid friendly: Unknown, but we suspect she'd likely do well with respectful kids Martha likes: - Napping in a comfy spot - Getting gentle scritches - Being near you Martha is a sugar faced angel who just needs a generally quiet environment to live her best life! She really enjoys walking around the neighborhood and smelling all of what's around her, as much as she loves curling up on a couch and napping for an afternoon. She's easy to love and be around, and she isn't demanding at all (unless its a head nudge to get some pets). She also conquers fears with the right support - we were told she has been afraid of stairs, but after the first day she was running up and down them in our home! This senior lady is one who can bring so much joy to someone (or someones) who wish to have a sweet companion and a little furry shadow. Martha has begun taking arthritis and urinary medication while in our care. She has a handful of lumps that are being assessed and which may require further testing at her adopter's expense.
