My story

Cheese Sticks is living in a foster home. Fill out our quick adoption survey, and then we can set up a phone call or meet and greet with the foster! Cheese Sticks is: Neutered: Yes! Our microchips will automatically register when an adoption is finalized More about Cheese Sticks: Housebroken: Doing well overall, when taken out every few hours Crate trained: He has done best with free roam when home alone for up to 6 hours. He can take some time to settle, and will need to work on this in his new home. Leash walking: Doing well overall, though can sometimes pull toward other dogs Dog social: He is still learning to adjust to other dogs' play styles, and has done well with some but not all other dogs. He would do best as the only dog in his future home. Cat social: Unknown Kid friendly: He has done well in spending time with kids ages 4 and 6 Cheese Sticks likes: - Taking his toys out of his basket as you're putting them away because, of course, he's not done with them yet! - Going for car rides and sticking his head out the window - Rolling in the grass and playing fetch - Giving (actual) hugs, and waiting for you to join him on the couch Cheese Sticks is a smart and energetic boy who would thrive in a home where he will get plenty of mental enrichment and physical activity to keep him engaged and fulfilled. He can become mouthy (play bite) when overstimulated during play, so would appreciate an adopter who can help him channel this energy in positive ways, like working on a puzzle toy or stuffed Kong. He loves to have you around so is not a fan of being home alone, and will need to work on this over time once in his new home.
