Baby Serafina ATX

My story

Foster Baby Serafina ATX PUPdate Serafina has blossomed into such a lovely young lady since coming into our home back in October 2024. This poor pup has endured 3 surgeries and three recoveries to her hind leg. She has been such a good sport and patient through it all. It was all well worth it as our vet couldn’t be happier with the end result. Serafina has a slight hitch to her rear leg when she runs as she isn’t able to flex it completely but other than that she is 100% healthy. We are singing from the rooftops and are so happy for her. She deserves the best. Trust me it does not slow or affect this spirited pup. She is now a happy go lucky big girl who loves life and is living large! Serafina is a little over 1 year and is maturing into a gorgeous and full size pyr. She has the prettiest butterscotch patches to her coat, legs for days as well as alluring black eye liner around her eyes. Serafina has an exuberant personality and is pure joy and love. We are so thrilled this goddess of a pup to know she is finally ready to find her forever home. Serafina’s wish list: • Snuggles and lots of them. She loves to be reassured and welcome you by leaning into you for some pets. • Children, since she is just a kid herself she enjoys their likemindedness and playfulness. Note she is big and sometimes with her age she doesn’t realize how big she is. • Another pup or two or even more to romp with. She would not do well as an only dog • Routine, this girl is true to her breeds (Pyr/Anatolian) and really finds her stability in knowing what to expect. • Car rides. She is always the first one at the door, and sometimes through the door to take a joy ride. • Rubber balls are one of her all time favorite toys. She is hysterical to watch play with them. She doesn’t fetch but she will entertain herself with playing with a rubber ball. It really brings out the puppy in her and is so fun to watch. • Positive affirmations, this girl is all about hearing how gorgeous, wonderful and what a good job she has done. Surprisingly she comes when called if I throw in a compliment her way. • A home with a yard and the lifestyle that includes walks. She is at the age where she is either over confident or under confident while out and about. It makes us laugh as she lunges and barks at the neighbors yard sign during our walk but we understand the nature of her behavior and know this too shall pass. • A home that will appreciate her vocal talents as she has a big voice, not quite an Adele but we dare not tell her. • Outings she has a curious and fun nature but sometimes lacks confidence. With time and experience she will make for a great and fun girl to join in life’s adventures. • Patience and understanding of her breeds. She has a strong working dog mentality but yet lacks the maturity. She still has some puppy energy and goofiness which is to be expected with her age. • Someone who can accept and welcome that in her mind she is merely a chihuahua. However in reality she is already over 90 lbs and still has yet to fill out. She sometimes lays across us as if she is still a little puppy. We relish in her desire to be close and adore her affectionate nature. • Silliness, she is such a silly girl with a personality that is equal to her size. She cracks us up throughout the day. She brings so much laughter and love! So to recap, Baby Serafina ATX is a gorgeous and pyrfect young girl with is looking for a home where bigger is better, love is something to be expressed and shared with people and fellow Dog lovers!
