My story

Karol is a beautiful, spirited young Great Pyrenees who’s back with Texas Great Pyrenees Rescue (TGPR) through no fault of her own. She originally came to us as a puppy with her brother Kris and was quickly adopted. But sometimes, life changes—and Karol’s boundless puppy energy just wasn’t the right fit for a home with very young toddlers. Now she’s looking for her second chance with a family who can keep up with her enthusiasm and help her continue to grow into the amazing dog we know she can be. Karol is best suited for a home with older kids (7+) and will thrive with structure, exercise, and basic obedience training. The good news? She’s incredibly food-motivated and eager to learn—making her an excellent candidate for someone ready to invest a little time and a lot of love.
