My story

Personality: snuggler, playful, easygoing, outgoing, loyal, energetic, affectionate, adventurous, mischievous, and adaptable. Meet Rocco - a guy who will (a) never say no to a walk, (b) happily greets people (c) is good with kids, and (d) shockingly enjoys spending time in his den/crate when you aren't around! When we say we aren't sure why Rocco hasn't been adopted after being with us for over a year, we really mean it! Rocco is truly a wonderful canine companion. One thing we love most about Rocco is his adaptable nature. He is happy to match your energy level, whether you're seeking a playful companion or a laid-back snuggle buddy. Time for a walk or play session - he's down to clown. Wanna snuggle up and watch a Rom-Com? He's all yours. Did I mention he's great with kids? That really cannot be overlooked! In addition to Rocco being house trained and crate trained, he already knows the words "off," “no,” "sit," and "crate". Rocco loves his chew toys, will love every single walk you take him on, and wants nothing more than to finally settle into his forever family.   While Rocco has canine friends (from a Great Dane to a Toy Poodle) he has been known to be a little choosy with his canine friends, so for now we recommend he start out as the only pet in your home. If you're ready to meet your best friend, he just might be the match for you. Apply today to meet Rocco! ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Washington, DC. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats. To answer your questions about included vaccinations, spay/neuter, etc., the adoption process, and more please visit at www.citydogsrescuedc.org If you are interested in meeting a dog or cat, we require an adoption application. If the animal has "HAS APPLICATION" listed, we are still accepting additional applications, as they sometimes fall through. If the animal is adopted by someone else, your application will be kept on file and you will not need to reapply for a different dog. Look at our available dogs and apply to adopt a dog at www.citydogsrescuedc.org/adopt-foster/adopt-a-dog/ Not Ready to commit to adopting yet? Foster a dog today! See our list of dogs needing foster at www.citydogsrescuedc.org/adopt-foster/foster-a-dog/ Apply to foster at www.shelterluv.com/matchme/foster/CDCK/Dog

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Rocco, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
